NVQ Plumbing Course Level 2
In order to achieve the NVQ Level 2, you should have first successfully completed the City & Guilds Level 2 Technical Certificate. This course will teach you all the skills and knowledge necessary to move on to the NVQ Level 2.

The NVQ Level 2 is a work based qualification. This means that you will need to be employed as a plumber in order to achieve the NVQ Level 2. You may be self employed or working for a plumbing company.
To gain the NVQ level 2, you will have to demonstrate that you can carry out a broad range of plumbing skills in the workplace.
Our assessors will visit you whilst you are carrying out your various jobs and assess your work, knowledge and general abilities.
You will on average need to be assessed on about 6 different jobs and this will usually take between 6-24 months, depending on your range of work etc.
The skills to be demonstrated are those that are included in the City & Guilds Level 2 Technical Certificate. This and the assessments for the NVQ are added to your portfolio and once complete you are awarded the NVQ Level 2.
